The Miami Dolphins Junior Dolphins in collaboration with the David Posnack Jewish Community Center hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of a new blue synthetic turf field at the David Posnack Jewish Community Center. The Miami Dolphins Junior Dolphins in partnership with the NFL Foundation awarded the David Posnack Jewish Community Center a $15,000 donation towards the completion of a new synthetic blue turf field this past spring, which will go on to serve up to 600 children and adults in the community per day. “We are extremely happy to be supporting David Posnack Jewish Community Center and their unveiling of the new blue synthetic turf field,” Miami Dolphins Senior Director of Community Relations & Youth Programs RaShauna Hamilton said. “Through our partnership and the NFL Foundation we’re excited that the funds donated will help to expand the capacity and impact this community in a meaningful way.” Children participating in the Junior Dolphins Summer Football Camps presented by FARE joined the celebration and later went on to enjoy football drills and flag games. The Junior Dolphins program encourages youth players and coaches to teach, learn and play football in a fun and safe environment. As stewards of the game, Junior Dolphins strives to grow participation in the game, impact the football community and build the next generation of Dolphins fans. Through strong community partnership and strategic resource distribution all aspects of Junior Dolphin’s work emphasizes character building to increase the overall experience in youth football.
