ChildNet Awarded A $25,000 Grant From The Truist Foundation To Support Employee Leadership Training

ChildNet, a Community-Based Care lead agency that protects abused, abandoned and neglected children throughout Broward and Palm Beach County, announced that it has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Truist Foundation. The grant assisted ChildNet in providing ongoing leadership development for Broward employees.  ChildNet is committed to investing in its employees by providing professional leadership and development training. ChildNet continues to build a culture of attracting and retaining key employees in order to positively impact employees and clients while also providing opportunities for advancement within ChildNet.  “On behalf of ChildNet we are grateful for partners such as the Truist Foundation,” said Larry Rein, ChildNet CEO & President. “Professional development and leadership training has ensured that our staff are well-equipped to deal with these complex issues. ChildNet was selected by the Florida Department of Children & Families to serve as the Community-Based Care (CBC) lead agency in both Broward and Palm Beach counties. As such, it is the single private nonprofit entity responsible for administration of the local child welfare system in each county. ChildNet fulfills this responsibility by managing comprehensive networks of child welfare service providers.
